About Taiwan / Where we are and what we do

Located at the western edge of the Pacific, Formosa, which means the beautiful island, was inhabited by the aborigines before the 17th century.

When it comes to aboriginal tribes in Taiwan, we would like to say Taiwan is best at preserving a variety of cultures and heritages. In addition, with magnificent mountains and stretching coastlines, there are different kinds of activities you must try such as river tracing, snorkeling and rafting. Come and explore our mysterious sceneries and cultures in person!

Besides the numerous tourist attractions mentioned above, genuine, big-hearted Taiwanese people are another reason why you must visit our country. Explore and get lost on our island. Not only will you find the road less taken and discover beautiful surprises, but also friendly local people are more than happy to help you out.

So, seize this opportunity to visit Taiwan, and have an experience you would have never expected!
